No, I didn't realize how hard
We all walk down a road of life,
Some of ours have intersections,
Some have dead ends.
Many are stuck at a red light,
While the opposing lane passes them by.
We all have forks in our roads,
And we think, "I have an option"
But the fork mumbles "Path."
Confused, we question the fork,
And the fork says the options are down the road.
"Take me with you, you'll need me,"
But we don't listen.
After many days we get startled,
We find an egg hanging on a string,
Dangling from the sky.
The eggs always seem so high to reach,
And we think, "I should have taken that fork with me."
